World Building for Visual Storytelling

Students will do creative exercises (writing and drawing) to help create a world for their stories. Students don't necessarily need a story, world or characters in mind. The goal of this class is for students to develop skills to strengthen their storytelling and how to balance creating from scratch with listening to the things you create. By the end of the three sessions, students will have the groundwork for a complex and rich story.
Class sessions: October 13th, 20th, 27th 5pm - 6pm
Materials needed: notebook, sketchbook, pencil, and pen
Technology: Access to Zoom/internet
